Tom Gilhuley
For the past decade, Tom has been involved in managing award-winning creative teams and innovative advertising projects for marketing firms on both U.S. coasts.
Before coming to The M-Line, Tom was the V.P. of Creative and Client Services at Adbiz, a creative marketing communications company located in Gainesville, Florida. He was responsible for leading the brand development for two popular nonprofit organizations, the Keira Grace Foundation and the Climb For Cancer Foundation. He played an integral role in the creation and marketing of the Climb For Cancer Foundation’s annual nationwide climbing event, known as 50-50-1. With limited resources and a small budget, the event, which put teams of climbers on the highest peak in each state on the same day, received TV, radio and print coverage throughout the country while raising upwards of $100,000 in its first year. From print and outdoor to multimedia and online, Tom was the creative and account director on all agency projects. The client list included a vast array of industries including everything from an international engineering firm to local collegiate sports teams.
Earlier in his career, Tom spent time working in traffic management for Doner Advertising in Baltimore, as well as two healthcare marketing firms, Harrison, Wilson & Associates in San Francisco, and Harrison & Star in New York. During his tenure with these agencies, he closely managed key branding and advertising projects for clients such as Progressive Auto Insurance, Bally’s Total Fitness, Orkin Pest Control, Blockbuster Entertainment, Mazda, Genentech, and Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals.
From guerilla marketing to the latest in new media, Tom is constantly studying and learning as much as possible to help drive our clients’ success in this rapidly changing world of marketing mediums.
